1. Support and strategy in the process of Law 1116:
Under the alliance with Valiat, we carried out a successful advisory for an important colombian company in its restructuring process under Law 1116. We supported the company in the design of its cash flow projections and in the negotiation strategy with suppliers, segmented by categories. The company presented to the Colombian authorities and its creditors the plan outlined in order to achieve a successful exit from the restructuring process.
2. Strategic financing for sustainable growth:
We turned financial challenges into sustainable growth opportunities for a leading real estate company in Central America, with operations in Colombia. We conducted an analysis of current productive assets to design an appropriate financing structure aligned with their long-term strategic objectives. This process allowed us to successfully present the financing transaction for USD $7.7 million with a major financial institution in Colombia and with optimal conditions for the client.
3. Strategic Expansion and Transformation:
With a well-known hotel chain in Ecuador, we led the development of a strategic plan and a financial model focused on the transformation and expansion of its coffee business line. This ambitious project aimed to redesign the growth vision, taking the operation from 5 current locations to a network of 36 locations, supported by a completely renovated and innovative concept. This project was approved by the Board of Directors and is currently underway.
4. Strategic merger to strengthen and transform:
We led a strategic project to strengthen a promoting company’s competitive position in the live entertainment market. To this end, the entire valuation and negotiation process was carried out with Breakfast Club, a company recognized for its expertise in organizing festivals such as La Solar and Ritvales, as well as its strong network of agency relationships. Its incorporation was essential for the creation of Breakfast Live, aimed at complementing Beat Hub’s existing capabilities and driving joint growth, thus creating the second largest promoting company in Colombia.
5. Strategic expansion and creation of a new business model:
We successfully led the creation of a business vertical, and working capital financing for USD $3 million. Previously, activities were outsourced despite being vital to the business ecosystem. Based on a financial analysis, we identified a key opportunity. This finding led us to design a comprehensive plan and financial model, to have the viability of the project, and to lay the foundations for its sustainable growth.
6. Financial transformation: Strategic refinancing in the construction sector:
We successfully led the debt refinancing of Meridian, a construction company in the British Virgin Islands, streamlining a complex financial structure into an efficient and cost-effective solution. The initial challenge involved four separate debts, which were impacting cash flow. We designed a comprehensive strategy that consolidated the debts, optimizing interest costs and principal payments, and improving the company’s liquidity and financial stability.
7. Strategic reinvention:
We led the transformation and monetization of the largest live event ticketing company in the country, successfully facing the impact of the pandemic. We implemented a strategy focused on efficiency, highlighting the closure of physical points of sale and the total transition to the digital channel. Although challenging, this decision allowed the company to adapt quickly, optimize operations and strengthen its resilience. As a result, it achieved a significant increase in profitability and consolidated its position as an innovative leader in its sector.
